Button with princely crown or princely hat and the monogram in the form of a mirror image of the letter "C" around 1750 / 1800.

Sizes: 24, 19 mm (±1mm)

Theory 1: Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont - Military button from the time of Karl August, Prince of Waldeck and Pyrmont, who should have fought with Waldeck units at the side of the Imperial Army (Holy Roman Empire) during the Seven Years War. Unfortunately I miss the proof that the Waldeck units took part in the war. It is a fact that in 1718 two Waldeck regiments were taken into imperial service, but they were not in Central Europe from 1756 to 1763.
Theory 2: Duchy of Württemberg / Duchy of Oels (Württemberg-Oels) - the buttons are often found near Wrocław, which could be a reference to the Duchy of Oles from the time of Charles Christian Erdmann (1744-1792). Charles Eugene, Duke of Württemberg (1737-1793) also used the same monogram.
